Reflection & Gratitude

I recently read that the secret to happiness is continual reflection and gratitude.

Every year I reflect and write a gratitude note. I started writing this gratitude blog post in 2020 for Thanksgiving. At that time, we were coming out of the pandemic, and I was so proud we had survived as a company with clients and all our employees. Last year 2021, I was grateful for all the positive changes in my life. Our beautiful new office space being at the top of the list!

This year I find myself drawn to looking outside the company and beyond myself. We as a company embarked on the EOS Leadership journey and established our core values as well as where we want to go in the future. The EOS process has been a ton of work but brought such clarity to our entire team.

Here are the LGID Core Values:

We are blessed with amazing projects and clients that fill our continual pipeline. We chose to set some lofty goals - one of them is giving back! As a team, we have committed to donating $10K annually for the next 10 years. Each of our team members can recommend a charity close to their hearts to support. We are proud that this year we were able to help these amazing charities because of all our blessings. We hope that you will learn more about them and choose to also give back.

Chemo Noir – The philanthropic mission of Chemo Noir is to host and inspire wine-centric, lifestyle events that raise money to provide financial support to the families, friends, and fighters in their battle with Cancer. Since 2017, they have helped to fund over 70 local Cancer fighters in need.
